About Us

Our Work Environment

We believe strongly in respecting the inherent value and integrity of each person. In the workplace, this translates into a firm sense of commitment and respect among peers that creates a true community. Working toward a common vision, we know that what we do actually makes a difference in people's lives. And constant training in new techniques and equipment gives our employees opportunities to achieve their potential. Because they are fulfilled, respected, and happy, many employees choose to stay with us for many years.

Our Hometown

We live and work in the amazing community of Woodland, where you and your family will enjoy friendly, safe neighborhoods and good schools. With its small town quality of life, historic charm, and agrarian roots, Woodland is attracting new families and businesses every year.

The Woodland Opera House, which was built in the late 1800s, serves as the center for visual and performing arts, with activities and performances year-round. Woodland also hosts several community events, including The Scottish Games, the Yolo County Fair, and the Chili Cook Off. Plentiful shopping and dining, and neighborhood parks and ball fields provide opportunities for hours of leisure activities. White-water rafting and fishing on nearby Cache Creek are also popular fun for families.

Woodland's neighbor, Davis, is a university-oriented city noted for its small-town style, environmental programs, parks, bicycles, and high-quality schools. A Northern California mecca for artists, Davis features a community Art Center, more than two dozen galleries, an annual downtown Street Faire, and the restored downtown Varsity Theater performing arts and conference center. The new Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts on the UC Davis campus features an intimate theater with state-of-the-art acoustics for appreciating world-class performances.

Woodland and Davis are about 20 miles from downtown Sacramento and 85 miles from San Francisco, putting shopping malls, international airports, and additional entertainment attractions within easy reach. Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains are only two hours away, offering such outdoor adventures as camping, hiking, skiing, backpacking, and other activities.
