Meet Our PeopleWhat's it like to work for St. Bernardine Medical Center? Find out by viewing our employee videos to understand our culture.
Living life on the track Every day I work to empower my patients. I want them to have knowledge when it comes to their illness and treatment. My job is to respect their decisions, then provide whatever comfort and support I can as we take on the challenges of cancer together.
Saving life as a hospital pharmacist I love the clinical aspect of my job. But I don't do it for myself or for the paycheck. I do it because when I take care of people in the right manner, I'm honoring God.
Saving life as a physical therapist Helping patients recover from injury is what I do at work. Training my dog for competition is what I do at play. Both require personal dedication and discipline to get the best results, and that's what moves me.
Living life on the water There's a high skill level involved in what I do at the hospital. But that challenge is what I love. To do something that requires intense effort and total commitment is what critical care is all about. It's what I'm all about.
Saving life as a telemetry nurse I was born at St. Bernardine's, so working here is like being with family. I love it. In telemetry, I learn something new every day, and for me, treating the heart is like nurturing the soul. Just like cooking when it's cold outside- it's a warm feeling. |
