Professional Growth & DevelopmentAt St. Mary's, we understand that career satisfaction goes hand-in-hand with career development. We therefore provide our employees an array of opportunities for continuing education, in-house training, and promotions. For example, we provide training to help other hospital employees become RNs. And we're especially proud of our year-round programs for new nursing graduates. For the first 4-6 weeks of your employment, we'll support your transition to hands-on patient care by offering you review and practice in our skills lab, as well as help from experienced nurses. We offer monthly training programs for RN new graduates and international nurses starting the first Monday of every month for 12 weeks. Training includes, hospital wide orientation, skills lab training, computer training, clinical skills training with nursing education and directly training with a nurse preceptor.
