Here is just a sampling of what we offer our community: Wound Healing and Oxygen Therapy: SJPVH is home to the only hospital-based hyperbaric oxygen therapy center in western Ventura County. St. John’s Hyperbaric Oxygen and Wound Healing Center offers advanced treatment for a wide range of conditions and patients, including patients who are critically ill, receiving care on an outpatient basis, being treated for chronic wounds, and patients with decompression illness. Cancer and Oncology Services: Our oncology program provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnostic treatment and support services. Additionally, St. John’s Regional Medical Center is home to St. John’s Cancer Center of Ventura County, which offers a breast care program, support groups, community education, outreach programs, and The Jennifer Diamond Cancer Library. Cardiovascular Services: Our nationally recognized physicians and our team of heart specialists consistently earn St. John’s superior ratings in coronary artery bypass surgery survival rates. We specialize in comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostic and imaging procedures and treatements; state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology laboratories; cardiac interventions; and cardiac rehabilitation. Diagnostic Imaging Procedures and Services: Our diagnostic imaging services include mammography (including digital mammography), breast MRI, bone density scans, CT scans, MRI scans, colonoscopies, biopsies, PET scans for neurological diagnosis, ultrasound exams, X-ray, and nuclear medicine. Maternity Care and Birth Center: St. John’s hospitals offer comprehensive obstetrics and gynecological services, and St. John’s Regional Medical Center offers a neonatal intensive care unit with a dedicated team of clinicians. Orthopedic Services: Our orthopedic program specializes in diagnosing, treating, and preventing injuries and diseases of the body’s musculoskeletal system, and also offers orthopedic rehabilitation designed for those who have undergone a total hip or knee replacement or have sustained trauma to bones or joints. St. John’s Center for Surgical Weight Loss: St. John’s offers one of the largest and most established hospital-based surgical weight loss programs in Ventura County. St. John's Regional Spine Center: Our spine center offers a comprehensive approach to and specialized facility for the comprehensive management and treatment of spinal diseases and disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
