About Us

Our Work Environment

We owe our success to passionate people providing compassionate care. In fact, our employees are so enthusiastic about working here that we're making them the focus of a new marketing campaign. When you join our team, you'll be able to do what you do best, supported by coworkers who share your concern for placing patient care at the heart of our mission.

You'll also find that our leadership has fostered a culture that encourages respect and appreciation for each person's contribution. Special lunches to celebrate employees' birthdays are just one part of our employee recognition program. Our goal is to make our hospital a place where everyone feels they are an integral part of a dynamic team, all day every day.

Our Hometown

With more than 57,000 residents, Folsom is a first-class city with all the charm of a small town. Our residents appreciate our colorful Gold Rush history, while enjoying the conveniences of modern living. Outstanding neighborhoods, expanding job opportunities, highly ranked schools, and diverse recreational amenities combine to make Folsom a unique place to live, work, and play.

It's easy to get to and from our city. We're conveniently located 25 miles east of California's capitol and about halfway between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe. Our downtown is minutes away from four major freeways, five airports, freight and passenger rail lines, bus lines, and even an inland seaport. Though commuting is straightforward, many residents find their employment right here in high-tech production facilities, new business parks, and expanding retail outlets.

For leisure, residents can choose from a number of options. Our historical district, complete with landmark buildings, great scenery, and wonderful shopping, has become one of the largest centers for antique trade in the west. New retail hubs offer more shopping, movie theatres, and restaurants, and additional cultural entertainment is easy to find in nearby Sacramento.

Folsom Lake State Recreation Area is the most popular multi-use, year-round unit in the California State Park System. This 18,000-acre park is a great place to fish, hike, camp, picnic, ride horseback, water ski, boat, swim, and study nature. Those who take their outdoor adventures to greater heights will enjoy quick access to Tahoe ski resorts and camping and hiking in the Sierra Nevadas.
