A classroom orientation is the standard introduction to working at Mercy. All RNs will be assigned to a preceptor and "buddy" to help complete the transition into the RN role. Mercy also offers an intensive RN New Graduate Orientation twice a year. This program continues to receive high praise from our RN New Graduate employees. In addition, Mercy is in the process of presenting FAME, a new on-line continuing educational program utilizing teleconferencing presentations to nursing staff, physicians, patients and their families.
