The legacy of MMC began in 1940 when the Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity founded Our Lady of Perpetual Help Hospital. Today, Marian Medical Center is a 167-bed medical facility with two hospital campuses, Marian and Marian West. We’re known for the Marian Family Birth Center, the Marian Heart Center (ranked among the top 10% nationally), and the Marian Cancer Program and Cancer Center. And in October 2008, MMC broke ground on our new $210 million tower, expanding emergency and women’s services. It’s no wonder that over 130,000 patients visit each year and entrust the staff with their care.
