- Sleep Diagnostics Laboratory: This special unit is designed to diagnose and evaluate treatment for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The Sleep Laboratory consists of two private bedrooms where patients spend the night, supervised and monitored, using state-of-the-art technology.
- Transitional Care Unit: This unit is designed to meet the needs of patients who no longer require acute care, but still need other healthcare services, such as physical therapy, before going home. This is the only facility of its kind in San Luis Obispo County that is Medicare certified and JCAHO accredited. The 12 bedrooms are comfortably decorated and designed to promote healing in a less stressful environment. Approximately 3,000 patients per year stay at the Arroyo Grande TCU.
- Emergency Services: Our 24-hour, full service, 12-bed Emergency Room Department is fully staffed to handle all medical conditions with compassionate and quality care. Arroyo Grande Community Hospital is one of the busiest ER's in the area, treating approximately 1800 patients per month with a minimum wait to see a doctor. Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Emergency Room consistently excels in patient satisfaction ratings.
